PDF of Circuit City Stores Closings (I’ve heard folks getting good going-out-of-biz deals at some of the local stores in my area in the last few weeks) Some rumors are going around that an additional 150 stores will be closing.
I heard a Zellers somewhere in kitchener Ontario is closing down. Heard it from some friends.
here’s another update from an expert from Yahoo Finance: he predicts 220,000 stores will close in 2009. we’re talking about mass retail closings and entire malls going dead. Speaking of which, also check out: deadmalls.com
